Convection Oven
Convective ovens use the concept of a recirculated air heating system, which can be fired directly or indirectly (natural gas, LPG, thermal oil), aiming for strict control of the heated air where the working temperature is monitored by controllers interconnected to the control PLC, which modulates the intensity of the burner flame according to the process needs, ensuring control of the necessary air flow and minimizing thermal energy losses.
Convection drying ovens are the common choice in industry, although they operate more slowly compared to infrared ovens because they require more energy to heat the surrounding air before transferring heat. To maximize efficiency, proper air flow and distribution must always be maintained. If the air flow is turned off, not only will contaminants remain, but paint application and curing may result in defects, or the part may take longer to dry, impacting production.
