E-Coat

Electrocoating (E-Coat) has long been recognized as an excellent way to apply a high-quality primer or finish to metal parts. It's a high-volume finishing operation that uses a fraction of the space required by traditional monorail systems. Parts are indexed along a pair of low-maintenance slide rails instead of a chain conveyor. Racks of products suspended on load bars rise and fall into and out of the processing tanks simultaneously during the finishing process, minimizing material handling time and leaving a high-quality finish.

Key Benefits of TTX's SST E-Coat

  • The Slide Rail Square Transfer (SST) system offers many advantages compared to other transfer systems of similar capacity, among the advantages are:

  • Less floor space occupied on the factory floor;

  • Lower capital invested per m² of E-Coat paint;

  • Modular construction facilitates relocation;

  • Low cost of electrocoat tank;

  • Low utility costs;

  • Construction of tanks entirely in stainless steel;

  • Tanks and fully enclosed installation;

  • Enclosure combined with the exhaust system minimizes vapors in the factory environment and preserves the building's structure;

  • Project focused on process efficiency with low consumption of ink, chemicals and energy.
